Dr. Joseph Lamplot is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder, elbow, and knee care. He is fellowship-trained in sports medicine and shoulder surgery from the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York, consistently ranked the #1 orthopedic hospital in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.

He currently practices at Endeavor Health Medical Group, treating patients across the northwest suburbs of Chicago. His practice focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of orthopedic and sports-related injuries using the latest evidence-based techniques.

Dr. Lamplot has authored over 80 peer-reviewed research articles, delivered more than 60 presentations at national and international conferences, and written twelve book chapters. His research focuses on improving outcomes in ACL reconstruction, shoulder stabilization, rotator cuff repair, and cartilage restoration.

He serves on committees for the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the American Shoulder and Elbow Society and is a member of the Editorial Board for Arthroscopy: The Journal of Arthroscopic and Related Surgery.
